I know

This is how I know God is real.  This is how I know He hears my prayers.  This is how I know He loves His children.  This is how I know that families are meant to be together forever (link).  I am so privileged to be called a Mother.

Backtrack #33: Christmas Dance Program at DanceAmerica

Amelia participated in a little Christmas program at DanceAmerica in December.  She was in a silly mood that night.  She didn't really do her dances, played with her tutu during the song, ran to her coach and asked her to tie her ballet shoe....just wasn't really into it.  We still enjoyed watching our little girl though!

Backtrack #32: Thanksgiving Weekend

We haven't been to Utah for Thanksgiving for several years, so I was having a "small" pity party over missing my family.  It all quickly changed when we got to Grandma and Papa's house to enjoy the day.  I am soooo lucky to have married into a wonderful family on both sides.  My children are so so loved, and nothing could make me happier.

Helping Grandma make her incredible homemade dinner rolls.

Backtrack #31: Baby Boy's Shower

Linda and Alyssa (along with help from Sharmela and Lori) hosted a perfect shower for baby boy!  It was a beautiful day with a lot of fabulous friends.

Amelia-Analise-Harlow-Jailee.  Mia's best friends! (Minus Rubi and Mia Christensen)
 The best friends ever.  Honestly.

Backtrack #30: Lunch Bunch

Amelia has started attending a program at TumbleAmerica called Lunch Bunch.  It's easy to say that this has become her favorite activity of the week.  It's four hours each Friday, the kids do gymnastics,  music, swimming, lunch and a craft.  She truly just loves it!

Backtrack #29: Halloween

Amelia has a cute little friend she swims and dances with named Analise.  Weise always makes the list of "best friends".  It was so cute to see a true friend interaction one day during swim lessons...both girls came out of the pool informing us that they were both going to be Strawberry Shortcake for Halloween.  Heather and I got started making their costumes.  Halloween around here seems to last a week.  It's actually exhausting!  As fun as it is, I'm hoping for a shorter celebration this year.
